Is the “human matrix” noisy?

If you pay attention, the human eye in many ways works like a digital camera. In particular, if you look at a closely located object, the background is blurred (portrait photography in a photo), and if you look into the distance, the object itself will be blurred.

And then, if we think by analogy, the question arises: Can our “matrix” make noise in low light, just like a digital camera? Yesterday I looked at dusk - it seemed to be noisy ... or maybe it was from a long sitting at the monitor.
