1.8.4 Stable

Zend Framework development team announced the release of the next, fourth, technical release, 1.8 branch. Over 50 questions in 20 different components were closed. You can download it from the Zend Framework website and see the full list of changes .

Also on the site, developers have added development plans . It will highlight future changes in future versions. Already, you can see some points that can be expected in version 1.9, there is only preliminary data, later more complete information will be added. Also, the developers reported that they do not plan to name clear release dates, as it is often difficult to predict, since most of the developers of the Zend Framework, no matter how strange it may sound, are also people involved in the project in their own time. However, it is hoped that at the end of July of this year, version 1.9.0 will be released anyway.
