New features of PU VDS

The VDS control panel was replenished with three new functions at once, namely:

• Reinstall OS
• Backup
• Statistics

Now our testers (and after the commercial launch of VDS and all clients) can create backup copies of their VDS and restore them from previously saved copies. Thanks to a timely made copy, the system can be restored in the event of a failure, if, during operation, we assume that you accidentally delete important system files.

The ability to reinstall the OS appeared in the basic operations section. We remind you that during the reinstallation process, the old VDS and all its data will be completely deleted without the possibility of recovery, so before using this function, please take proper security measures so that it does not hurt later.

In the statistics section, you can now see graphs illustrating the traffic of your VDS for a certain period and the average value of the processor time used by your server. In the near future, also promises to appear statistics on other important indicators of the work of VDS on Xen technology.
