In Russia there will be a student competition on the program Mathematica

The first all-Russian student competition on the computer algebra system Mathematica starts April 23, 2007. Schoolchildren and university students can win a new laptop and licensed copies of the program. In addition, all winners will become applicants for participation in the summer workshop in the company Wolfram Research (developer Mathematica).

The contestants will have to use the knowledge of the Mathematica system to find the most elegant and effective solutions to the tasks. Decisions will be made within seven calendar days from the date of publication of the conditions.

Winners will be announced no later than May 30, 2007.
