Commercial Spaceport

Of these, passengers will spend five minutes in zero gravity.


The cost of building a spaceport (Spaceport America) is $ 200 million. And it will belong to the state. But the launch vehicle, the spacecraft and the technologies used for space flights are all property of Virgin Galactic Corporation, which is still the only private space carrier.

Virgin Galactic plans to launch its first space flights as early as the end of 2010.
