Monetizing Facebook Fan Pages

I have a fan page on Facebook with over 1 million fans. As the page administrator, I can send messages through the status update and notifications function that will see all 1 million people in my profiles. Now I have a question about how this page can be monetized by? The audience is huge, but I don’t know what to do with it. There is an option to sell it to someone who knows what to do with it, but again the question is, for how much? how much is an audience of 1 million people? There are other options to use the statusplug.com service and upload ads from advertisers, but again the ads on the page should match the theme of the page, otherwise there is a high probability of losing fans. What other ways to monetize a large audience do you know?
