AdWords and old accounts

I want to say thank you for your attention to user problems.


The problem was the following:

Many companies (blogun, nic.ru, etc.) that carry out e-commerce together with google carry out joint actions to encourage new customers and in fact there is a little confusion.

I first received an incentive coupon from nic.ru (for the amount of 1,400 rubles) and decided to activate it accordingly, which was denied in a rude manner, that my account is very old and naturally satisfied with this refusal, and I’ve started using AdWords as before.

Then I receive a letter from the Moscow office of google, where it is reported that google AdWords gives me a promotional coupon worth 1800 rubles. I decided to try this code, thinking that I was sent it as an old customer, and the amount there is completely different from the previous one.

In response, there was an unnatural refusal and the same mistake that my account is too old to activate the gift code.

Naturally, after some confusion, I decided to contact the google AdWords support service and wrote to them that I didn’t understand why I didn’t activate the code I was mailed to me from the Moscow office, cited the data for the second invitation to which I received the following letter:

Good afternoon, Alexey!
Thank you for your email to AdWords support.
While reviewing your account, we found that you created your account on August 1, 2006.

Preferential codes can be used within 14 days after creating an account. Since your account was created more than two weeks ago, the discount code you received no longer works.
Unfortunately, this type of concessional loan is provided only to new accounts. Therefore, AdWords Specialists are not currently able to offer you another loan.
We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any possible inconvenience.

And the following angry and annoyed letter was sent in reply:

Thank you very much, I will definitely register another 100 accounts to take advantage of your free offers.

I believe that Google is simply mocking old customers. I make a conclusion about some incompetence of your employees and the wrong algorithm sent promotional codes.

And having received another response from a Google employee, I made some conclusions for myself below.

I sincerely apologize for the not quite correct answer. I activated a promotional coupon worth 1,800 rubles. This amount is displayed on the Billing Summary page.
You mentioned that you received 2 promo codes. Please note that for one account you can apply one promotional coupon.
Once again, I apologize for the incorrect interpretation of your question.

Summary :

Everywhere there are mistakes, it is impossible to fully automate the process of receiving reward codes, and here, in my opinion, confusion occurred due to the fact that RUtsentr sent my data to Google for statistics, but they decided to make me happy again, without looking at the database, that the account is not young.

I want to say a huge thank you, not for 1800 activated rubles, but for the attention to the problem
PS the whole correspondence took half a day.
PPS Thanks for the minus, but it is advisable to explain your position on this issue.
I wrote as a personal experience, because with other companies the conversation on the normal is completely impossible, and with google everything is as it should, everything is for users.
