Nokia is Russia's most popular handset maker.

The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM), within the framework of the IFORS project, presents data on which brands of phones are known to Russians, which brands have phones that, from the point of view of the respondents, the optimal price-quality ratio, which brands the phones would recommend to their relatives .

The most recognizable Russian mobile phone brands are Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Siemens (56%, 46%, 42% and 37% of Russians, respectively, say they know these brands, as well as 68%, 64%, 65% and 58 % of respondents will find out these stamps with a hint).

Nokia is the leader in the ranking of the highest quality phones (44%); in second place with a large margin - Samsung (25%). This is followed by Sony-Ericsson, Motorola and Siemens (14%, 12% and 11%).

It is noteworthy that a significantly smaller proportion of Russians suggests that Nokia phones are attractive in terms of price and quality (33%). At the same time, for the other brands there are no significant differences between the quality assessment indicators and the assessment of attractiveness by the criterion of price - quality. Similarly, the answers of respondents to questions about the willingness to advise certain brands to their close circle are distributed.
