In 1994, Rasmus Lerdorf (Rasmus Lerdorf) created a set of Perl / CGI scripts for processing the html file templates for his online resume. But when Perl lost its functionality and speed, Rasmus rewrote the C interpreter, calling it PHP / FI (Personal Home Page / Forms Interpreter).
June 8, 1995, 14 years ago, PHP / FI 2.0 was released - the first public release.
So, congratulations, PHP! Less glitches, more sekurnosti and OOP, but in the heads of beginners!
