The Chinese have combined RSS and IM

Chinese startup Anothr has released a new version of its RSS-bot, with which updates of RSS-streams are downloaded to the Skype chat window. In the new version of the bot, compatibility with the Gtalk IM pager is implemented, OPML import / export and tag support have been added.




We have already told you how the Anothr RSS bot works. Right in the chat window, it processes commands (starting with “?”) And URLs from which it extracts links to feeds. The robot can communicate in English and Chinese.

Recently, the Chinese have also developed a widget - the “Add to Another” button, with which a blog visitor can add this feed to his Skype with one click.
