“Indicator-6”, lamp clock of the Cold War era

Fred Niall, a Russian-speaking (judging by the name of the watch) guy from Boston, USA, not only invented, but also built and arranged the sale of very unusual watches in the style of cyberpunk / Fallout themes.

The clock uses specialized Soviet lamps manufactured in the 70s, and a modern board with a control chip.

UPD: Thanks for the karma, transferred to the blog of gadgets

In addition to simply displaying the current time, the creator stitched a very beautiful “turning over” effect into the chip, when switching to a new minute or hour. Be sure to watch the ticking video, in motion it amazes even more photos.

On the technical side, this is just a clock without an alarm clock, with 6 digits and a 12-hour cycle (a 24-hour option is available on request), operating from a normal network (options available on 120V and 230V, with any possible plugs). Behind are buttons for setting the time, the button for switching the modes of the shuffle digits (12 hours / 1 hour / 10 min / 1 min / never) and the power cord plug.

But how beautiful the thing turned out! Photos speak better than any words.

The creator writes about the availability in the near future 25 finished products, they are sold for $ 275-285, depending on the delivery area. After a few reviews on the net, they will be swept away VERY quickly.
