The finals of the TopCoder Open championship in Algorithms and Marathon Match ended in Las Vegas.

For the first time the schoolboy won the TCO-2009 Algorithm. Interestingly, he is also the current winner of TopCoder High School. Another interesting fact is that the second and third winners of the TCO-2009 Algorithm became the winners of the ACM ICPC in 2009 and 2007, respectively, and the winner of the TCO-2009 Marathon Match in 2000 and 2001.
