Have you ever seen a business card suitable for understanding a blind person? And the brochure? A bus schedule at the bus stop?

Although I can not (can not) print brochures, and no one will allow me to stop with such an initiative either, but I wanted to do at least something to help.
')
I did (or rather, my colleague helped me most actively). I bring to your attention Braille.Ru .

Now it is being finalized, including in terms of layout, which is now executed in a technical form.

What the converter can do now:
1. in the Russian part - convert Cyrillic and Latin, numbers and some symbols;
2. in English, similarly, but without Cyrillic;
3. while the test is going on, the limit of characters is limited only by the capabilities of the virtual server, in the future it will be reduced to 1000 characters, which is more than enough for a business card and a brochure;
4. with the exception of some problems, the braille font is visible in all popular browsers ( there are problems in Windows Opera );

What are the plans:
1. reverse conversion;
2. support more and more languages;
3. simple API.

I believe that the availability of such a service in RuNet will help printing companies to offer their services in adapting the same business cards for blind people. After all, there is no need to buy specialized equipment. Quite acceptable quality can be achieved on a conventional thermal printer.
