Will Livejournal have its own microblogging service?
The other day, the appearance of the Ljchat.ru service was recorded , indicating that it is in the process of closed beta testing. I sent a letter asking for an invite, did not wait for an answer, but today I saw that the site was opened, I went in and used it. The first thing I saw was the design of a twitter. Apparently, the guys did not bother and chose the easiest option - they lent the structure of messadzas and layout tapes. However, unlike tweets.ru - a service that causes laughter, it is so torn off from Twitter - the false chat is made much more accurate, well, it has really unique functionality. Besides the fact that there you can post photos and videos, the chat mode itself is implemented quite fun and forms a style of communication that is completely different from Twitter. This is not microblogging, but rather nano or even pico blogging, or maybe not blogging at all (although the “posts” can be commented upon). If you want to write to Twitter something more or less meaningful, it is nice to flood in a lie. Someone else's false chat is as interesting to read as someone else's logs in ICQ. But you can hang in your tape for a long time. I think that a false chat will very soon be the leader among microblogging services by the number of posts per day - if, of course (I repeat), IM logs can be considered “microblogging”. By the way, you can use chat via Jabber transport, similarly to the cheater. Also available is a mobile version - which, at m.ljchat.ru, gives an authorization error, and according to ljchat.ru/mobile, everything is okay. Hopefully the creators will fix this.
