Lebedev and his mistake

Mr. Artemy Lebedev, in the recent past, launched on his website a seemingly very interesting at first glance section called “bizen-lynch”. The essence of the idea is that any mortal designer has every right to send his any work for review to Artemia himself, or to a choice of several leading studio workers. There, later they will decide whether your work is worthy of a merciless and sometimes (IMHO 70%) of an absolutely biased "repulse." I sent them one of my works; my answer will not follow. The principle of selection of works for review is simple: if in the work something is “acquired” in the opinion of the reviewer, he takes a finger and pokes you in these places. That in itself is not bad. But there is a nuance. And in my opinion is far from important. This is just the objective side of the issue. And not so much objectivity, as a careless attitude to the face of themselves plays a big role here. Those shortcomings in your work for which they point, are often found among themselves. You will understand this by looking through the first “Lynch”, then the studio portfolio. I advise you also to pay close attention to the following sections: process, routine, illustrations. With a detailed examination, you will find that there are dozens of such coincidences! By Artemia myself, I have no claims, and moreover, I respect his work and success. But in conclusion, I can only say one thing: watch yourself when you are engaged in “authoritative” criticism!
