Yesterday, the Windows Azure development team announced the release of the May version of the Windows Azure SDK and the Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio.
Both products can be downloaded at
http://dev.windowsazure.com . The main news is support for Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1.

I can only say that it has become possible to perform some operations with Windows Azure Table in transactions.
