Autodesk DragonFly - interior design in a web browser

Autodesk has created a fun application based on Adobe Flex technology. With it, you can prepare a visually attractive three-dimensional floor plans without leaving the browser and in minutes. The product is called Autodesk DragonFly and is packed with an impressive library of objects (plasma panels, stereos, fireplaces, living room and bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances, plumbing ...). Objects can be moved to the plan (unfortunately, nothing can be dragged to the isometry) using the mouse cursor, users can resize objects, rotate them and perform other manipulations. Of course, not God knows what, but I do not know of other similar applications.

The whole process of creating a drawing is divided into three simple steps:

first: create a two-dimensional plan of the designed premises. A novice architect will be able to take advantage of the proposed blank or create his own drawing from scratch using only walls ... The toolkit allows you to easily build or demolish walls, divide rooms with partitions, mark doorways on the plan and indicate the direction of their opening, etc. it is proposed to fill the empty premises with furniture, decorative elements, all kinds of floor lamps, etc.
')
secondly: after completing the work on the plan, the user can click on the View in 3D button in order to see his drawing in isometry. It makes sense to make walls translucent (to do this, right-click on the desired wall or partition and specify the transparency attribute)

and finally: the results can be saved (for this it was necessary to register) or export to DWG format (supported by most architectural design packages) or RVT (allows you to open created projects in Autodesk Revit). You can also print an isometric or plan with dimensions (indicated in feet or meters).

Autodesk DragonFly does not imply pre-registration, but from experience it is better to go through it, otherwise you will not be able to save the results of your design efforts. It would be great if you could look at your creation in perspective or even in the virtual tour mode, but alas. I also did not understand how to send a link to my creation, but maybe it's me so stupid ...
