It happens in life this way - an idea sits in your head and you understand that the idea is good and it can shoot, but there are no opportunities for its implementation at the moment. And she sits, itching and reminds of missed opportunities. Worse yet, you think, if such a service already existed, I would gladly use it. Therefore, one way or another, you begin to wonder what you can do to implement this idea.
First, a little about the essence of the idea. I am developing a replicable software product. One of the main tools for promoting and selling a software product is the website for this product. I have a clear vision of what website I need and what it should contain, moreover, the website should be different at different stages of product development: at the idea stage - it is a splash splash screen, then a blog and lead collection, a prototype for invite, then a website for product beta and then almost the final website of the product being released.
On the Internet, a dime a dozen any CMS engines and frameworks. The main problem of these engines is universality. I have a specific task. Sites of many software products are similar in functionality and content to each other: this is a blog (news), download, documentation, buy, etc. Than to deal with WordPress, purchase hosting and other things, I would prefer to buy a solution (SaaS) that would take into account the specifics of my business, give some set of pages (template) and convenient pens: for example, managing the list of product revisions, prices, etc. P.
In addition, such a solution would support integration with payment systems: Plimus, RegNow, etc., with a CRM system, for example, SalesForce or SugarCRM, statistics of visits, downloads, purchases, transitions. Those. in fact, I need a solution for automating the promotion and marketing of a replicated software product, and not a “universal CMS” for all occasions. I seriously believe that the future belongs to such decisions, which take into account the specifics of a particular type of business.

I believe that if you carefully think through - such a solution would be interesting not only for me, but also for thousands of other small companies - developers of replicable software. Monetization here is also obvious: the sale of subscriptions to the use of the service and advertising partners whose services may be of interest to software developers.
I would like to hear the opinion of the community on this idea (to undercut it) and if you have any suggestions for participating in the implementation of this idea - welcome in private. For my part, I can prepare TK, act as the first customer, be responsible for promoting and marketing the service in the US market and if I need to find sources of financing.
