Transparent public toilet - how do you like this idea? It sounds absolutely crazy. But even in such a crazy idea there is a grain of intelligence. It is no secret that a large number of criminal events take place in public toilets. After all, behind the closed door nothing is visible. The Swiss city of Lausanne can get hold of the first such high-tech public toilet, which at the same time takes on the mission of reducing crime.
It should be noted that the toilet glass is partially made on the basis of liquid crystals and, when a special button is pressed, the visitor can make the cabin opaque. Outside, the wall becomes dark. At the same time, a movement detector is installed inside the toilet, which automatically makes the walls transparent again, if there is no movement inside for a long time (so it’s too long to stay awake, others wait!) Or vice versa, suspiciously fast active movements.
Just one thing. Even if similar toilets appear in Switzerland somewhere, then our cities cannot be seen that way. For an understandable reason - they will break it right away. And the price of such a public toilet is far from small.
And it’s also interesting how many people will forget to press the button to darken the booth?
