We understand that two posts about Evernote in a day are already overkill, and we are already fed up with you, but there is really good news that we did not dare to leave in the shadows.
Today came a fresh update for Mac Evernote. Of the most notable changes, we can mention support for exporting notes to HTML and several significant improvements in usability. You can update your Mac client through the built-in automatic updates or simply
download the latest version from our website.
View attachments via Quick Look
Now you can view any attached files right inside Evernote using the operating system’s Quick Look feature. Simply click the corresponding button on the tag of the attached file or use the keyboard shortcut CMD + Y. Also through the Quick Look, you can view notes directly from the Finder or found via Spotlight.

Here it is appropriate to remind that you can add any type of file to notes if you have a
premium account .
Export to HTMLThe following function was added to make you feel more comfortable by putting your data into Evernote, and you know that if you want, you can always easily get them out of there. In addition to XML export, we added the ability to export notes in HTML format (previously, this feature was only available in the Windows client). To do this, select one or several notes that you want to export, select the “File> Export ...” command (or immediately the “Export ...” command from the context menu) and switch the format to HTML. Meta-information notes (tags, source address, etc.) in the HTML-notes will also be present.
All Notes Button
This button allows you to instantly reset all search conditions and switch to the display mode of all notes from all notebooks. This feature is also available via the CMD + R key combination. Why haven't we added such a useful button to the Mac client before? Do not ask. We are surprised :)
Other significant improvements- The Save As feature now works for note-embedded audio files.
- The arrangement of functions in the application menu has become more logical.
- Fixed a large number of small and not very errors.
