• In April 2009, Opera Mini took advantage of more than 23.4 million people - 1.5% more than a month earlier and 140% more than in April 2008.
• Over the past month, users viewed more than 8.7 billion pages, so the result a year ago was exceeded by 249%. With the help of Opera Mini, a total of 151 million MB of information was downloaded to mobile devices - 295% more than a year earlier. Opera Mini can compress data by 90%. If they were not subjected to compression, users would have to download about 1.4 petabytes of information.
• Compared to April 2008, the number of Opera Mini users in Russia increased by 82.9%, and the number of web pages they loaded - by 205.5%. On average, Russians viewed 416 web pages per month.
• In April, Russians downloaded an average of 7.47 MB ​​of data, and the average web page size was 18.39 KB. If Opera Mini had not compressed the data, this figure would have increased to almost 184 KB.
