The results of the fourth annual rating of the Tagline expert group - “Top-100 leading web studios of Runet 2009” are published . The formal indicator of rating construction, as in previous years, was the turnover of companies in the market for developing and supporting Internet projects.

The methodology (it has changed quite a lot since last year) took into account the voting of studio representatives and external experts, as well as correction factors based on data submitted by the studios themselves. In addition, the estimate of the market volume for 2008 was published.
The score is calculated according to a clever formula: first, the votes scored by all studios are counted (studios themselves and external experts vote). Then the first 250 companies (voted) are taken, and their votes (voices of the “electors”) are counted with modifier 1, and the votes of the rest are recorded with the modifier 1/10. In addition, to compensate for markups, mutual votes (for each other) are taken into account with the modifier 1/2. The resulting score is multiplied by 7 different coefficients (each in the range from 1 to 1.1), the data for which the studios themselves submitted - and this is how the final rating score is obtained.
