Yandex Maps offline?
Is there offline version of Yandex maps for PC? To fully support the functionality of scaling and moving around the map as in the online version? Street search is optional. It is desirable to work in Linux, or in the end a WEB-application that can be deployed on a local WEB-server.
All I found was the offline version of the Moscow map for a mobile phone , and the "glue stick" of tiles . The latter is not suitable, because viewing an image of a detailed city map will require a lot of RAM. Modern netbooks from this size completely hang.
