The counter before the release of the roller GTA 4 counted out the last seconds

The long-suffering Rockstar Games decided to start a non-standard advertising campaign for their current project GTA 4. Namely, by posting a counter on the main page of the game before the release ... there is no game, movie!
Millions of fans of the game watched all this and it would be strange for Rockstar not to expect extraordinary loads at the “hour”. Nevertheless, after the expiration of the timer, the page began to look like this:

What was going on for another ten minutes, after which the site still allowed visitors, though in a half-dead state - none of the links to download still work, and Real-time video loads with varying success.
I share the first screenshots:

Perhaps a new hero.

The video actively demonstrates dynamic shadows, and especially the effect of self-darkening, but it is better to see it than to tell. Graphically, everything looks nice, but “Revolution!” Doesn’t scream.

Is there at least one example of a perfect launch of something on the Internet with a large influx of visitors?
