Twitter will never advertise

Twitter has a lot of ways to make money on your service. The problem of monetization, which everyone constantly talks about, is actually a problem of choice. What will be - is still unknown. But now it became clear that the placement of advertising (media or contextual) is not considered as an option at all.

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone officially announced that his company's future revenues will come from paid services, not advertising. According to Stone, some of these paid services will be launched later this year. Of course, this will in no way affect ordinary users, who are guaranteed free maintenance within the basic functionality.

Biz Stone said that advertising is not interesting for them for several reasons, and in the foreseeable future it will not be, despite the characteristic hints from Google. The company, neither now nor in the future, plans to hire personnel that would be engaged in the advertising direction. Now the company employs a little over 40 people, and by the end of the year the number of employees should double.
