Stanford iPhone Programming Course

The Stanford University’s free iPhone programming course has been downloaded by over a million people . The popularity of lectures increased dramatically when they were posted seven weeks ago on iTunes U - this is Apple’s special training resource dedicated to iTunes.

The iPhone Application Programming course is a video of lectures from a 10-week training course that Apple delivered to Stanford students. Two days after each lecture, it was laid out in free access, so that Internet users could learn almost in real time, simultaneously with real students. The video is accompanied by frames from the presentations that were shown on the screen in the classrooms of one of the best universities in the world.

The managers of the iTunes U project say that this is the first course on their website that has reached the mark of one million downloads.
