The question is brought to life by this commentary habrahabr.ru/blogs/popular_science/59885/#comment_1628726 . The problem is that I too often have to deal with such an attitude to life and the scientific and technical process. Why is it easier for a Russian scientist / engineer to spit on wikipedia instead of going and correct the information? And, after all, not only with wikipedia like that. Many nontrivial initiatives are met with a fierce intellectual attack from experts. Simply monstrous intellectual forces are spent by the domestic scientific and technical community to prove why something will not work, and not to figure out how to implement the idea. Well ... Or at least correct wikipedia. So why are we?
