Automate CV compilation

This material is not entirely about how to learn to work - but it is about automating an important aspect of work - writing a resume. Resume preparation is an important enough moment for an applicant. Many of us do this not very well. Of course, the automaton will hardly compose a resume perfectly - but at least you can look at the structure, design and borrow ideas. In addition, you can publish a resume on the web - of course, this is not HeadHunter, where employers have been going with jambs (slightly thinned in the last couple of months), but there is no excess viewing of a resume when looking for a job. So, my colleagues at “Shumen” found and compiled reviews of several resume automation services — and I was pleased to summarize them and presented a brief excerpt to the habrasocommunity.

Staffery Online - in my opinion, the most useful service for habrovchan, because it is not a spherical summary in a vacuum, but a summary for IT staff. Creating a resume, you can specify your competencies in great detail - what the dialogue looks like is shown below. The summary summary is posted on the site and at the same time becomes available for download in DOC and PDF formats. Having indicated your skills in such detail, one can hope that you will quickly find the “target” employer - it’s a pity that there is no vacancy section with the same details.

Crew is a service of Kazakhstan origin. Fill in the fields: education, work experience with an indication of positions held and listing duties performed, data on language skills and computer skills, a list of awards and achievements - and you get a neat PDFku at the output. In the comments on the “Ruformator” the development team promised to build a full-fledged social network around this function and even threw a screenshot . This idea is already dubious, but it is quite possible to make a resume on Crew. More is better not to do anything. Step to the left, step to the right - broken link or section not yet open.
The disadvantage is the summary in PDF, which creates certain difficulties when editing.

GitTide is a more “advanced” site. The basis is the same - you enter data, you get a resume. This time the resume is posted on the pages of GitTide itself. A funny bonus, which I personally have not found any practical use - for $ 5 you can place a video resume. Export summary - in DOC and PDF, but Cyrillic does not work in PDFs. A small problem - it will not be possible to make a resume without filling in the required fields - the system is strictly alert. Well, also, in my very subjective opinion, they in vain were taken to do on a rather stupid flash, because of which the link to the internal pages was not given.

getCV creates resumes and places them on your third level domain. This is very convenient in order to throw the link. But, unfortunately, the export is only in PDF, so it’s impossible to edit the resume - as a maximum print out what happened. A sample resume shows how it will look. Of the benefits - there are statistics views and downloads CV.
