Microsoft Web Platform Installer, or how to install PHP on IIS 7

It became necessary for me to install PHP on IIS7. Earlier, I remember when I already had to install php, though on IIS version 5.1 (which is included with XP) - so there was a whole business. Install, screw something with your hands, then it turned out that some kind of library was exactly the wrong version, I had to look for that one - well, in general, it was good that then there was a good manual found. There are now too many, even have a screencast .
At the moment, everything was even easier. We download Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 (it is written - it weighs about 1 megabyte, now in beta stage). There we select the necessary components, you can choose URL Rewrite, SQL Server 2008, ASP.NET MVC 1.0, and even all sorts of different blogging engines, website designers, such as DotNetNuke. Here is the window of only what is proposed from the new:

I picked myself all the fun. Everything was set, except for PHP :). I don’t know why it didn’t download from me, but the Web Platform Installer provides a detailed error log in which I just found the link from where to download php for IIS - downloaded, installed and everything worked.
