Under the cut a lot of graphics from the conference

The first significant announcement - Google Search Options - now you can manually filter search results by a variety of criteria, including temporary, trending, you can include user comments, and so on.

The second announcement - Google Wonderwheel - visualization of the search using a fractal map - round (optionally, square) images. The wheel is a "web" of keywords, between which you can switch by clicking on the "map".

Google Labs Announcement - Squared .

Squared returns a search query in the form of tables, organizing information from chaotic web pages. For example, when requesting a “dog” Google, gathering the search criteria will compile a table by breed, weight, color, nickname and so on.

Rich Snippets Announcement - the technology adds information from third-party sites to search results - user reviews, for example. A search for people will show the details of a person with LinkedIn - his place of work, contact details, etc. Microformats are supported.

All innovations promise to activate as soon as possible.

The Skyapp application for Android is shown - using GPS and a compass, the application shows the location of the stellar bodies, the constellations (with the ability to zoom in) with names above you; It is necessary to change the angle and the map starts to turn. Impressive!
