Professor Umnov has increased the range of WiFi to 100 km

The Russian division of Intel, with the participation of Professor Alexei Umnov from Nizhny Novgorod State University, created special equipment and software with which you can transfer data over the usual WiFi channel to a distance of up to one hundred kilometers.



During this year, engineers plan to test a unique system in Uganda (Africa). The back of the controlled electric antenna for this experiment is shown in the photo below. The rest of the equipment is quite standard for WiFi hotspots.
