Long chose where to send in "idea for habr" or in "I love habr." I'm a fairly new user at Habrahabr (moreover, today is exactly a month, as I am in this community). To register here - I posted one article and the UFO invited me - I did not see any other options for myself to get here. After I honestly read the help, because how much I was here initially was not clear. During this time I made several posts, one of which got enough votes and I got one invite for it. After that, I received several letters + several people knocked on icq - the topic was the same: they asked for an invite to Habrahabr. And then the actual question: how did they know? I read it again in the help - I understood that the whole thing is that one of the articles received more than 50 votes, but a simple check makes it clear that an unauthorized user does not see the results of the vote, therefore they “merge” theirs . :) Hence the question: why? I do not know how the others do in such cases, I always answer the same thing. “Habr has the opportunity to get an invite by sending a post to the Sandbox - try it and if you are worthy you will definitely get an invite. Good luck to you!". Maybe, of course, I answer this way, because I myself received an invite through the Sandbox, even the most likely it is. And maybe, really, I was just lucky that I got an invite from the first time and quickly, but in fact everything is different. But honestly, I do not want to evaluate a person from the street , whether he is worthy of a habr or not, this is not my business, and I don’t have time for that. Of course, another thing, if it was my friend - then I don’t need to dig into his profiles, I already know him, and I can say whether he is worth it or not, and in the case of a positive answer, give him an invite. As a result, in order not to think more about what “may be this person and need to give an invite,” I went to the sandbox - the most interesting, I really saw not only an interesting, but also useful post - and gave the person an invite.
