Maybe I regret about it, but I want to speak about the Code of the web developer , because I was very surprised by everything happening around this document. The bottom line is that a certain company attracts web and design studios of RuNet in order to jointly create a document that would instruct web developers to live righteously. Several very respectable and respected studios have signed up for the authors of the Code. At first glance, everything seems to be good and right. But…


But if you grasp the essence of what is happening, it becomes somehow not very pleasant. For example, quote:

It reminded me: “Candles bought not in the church are not valid!” The Code is for everyone! Reputation - subtle matter, its document does not improve. I still see the text on the website of some web studio: "We started to follow the code of web developers and stopped throwing customers." Plus, the methods of attracting participants are surprising - the creators of the code simply banish spamming all runet studios. I got the impression that the code was conceived with the sole purpose of promoting the authors of the initiative of the code. Some hypocrisy is obtained.

I know that on Habré there are many people who are connected with the web development market. I would like to know what you think about all this? Maybe I misunderstood something, but I don’t want any code. So it is not far to the Web Developers Union, with the chairman, meetings and censures.
