I hope no one will break the heart from the emblem I saw :) At the time when I have Windows 7 RC swaying - I found Windows 3.11 in the bins, the Windows I started with ... Of course, it was not so easy to install it because the fact that I do not have a floppy drive. So I had to do it through ... well, in general, not the most direct way. Put it on VMWare version 6: first I downloaded some boot CD with the ability to boot DOS 6.22, created a partition (fdsik), formatted it (format c :) and threw system files there (sys c :), opened the hard drive from the created machine ( using VMWare) and left the Win 3.11 installation files there. At first I wanted to install the Russian one, but I immediately realized when I saw the cracks during the installation that I would have to remember what cp to register in config.sys - so I decided not to bother and put the ENG version. And finally, another skinshot from the beloved and unforgotten: If someone is interested in the Internet, then here is the archive with the VMWare virtual machine: Windows 3.11.7z (~ 16Mb, password - outcoldman) UPDATE: forgot to write, first the dos is loaded, to start windows you need to execute the win command.
