Hacker gadgets at ShmooCon conference

The hacker conference ShmooCon this year has pleased with an entire arsenal of unusual devices that could be checked in action right on the visitors. What is worth only Silica device based on Nokia N800 - it automatically scans all surrounding Windows-based computers via WiFi, identifies vulnerable PCs and allows you to take screenshots from any of them in a couple of mouse clicks (and not only screenshots).



Silica gadgets sell for $ 3,600 and fly like hot cakes, according to Immunity developers. The price includes the basic device Nokia N800, a pre-installed and configured set of programs, an update for the year ahead and two-hour courses on working with the device.

The “wireless hacker” will have a good way to get a WiFi signal booster from WarDrivingWorld.com, with which you can connect to hot spots for as much as three kilometers. The $ 325 package includes a 100-milliwatt 802.11 b / g card, a 500-milliwatt amplifier and a 9 dBi antenna.

Among the exhibits it was possible to find devices that protect the wireless network owner from such attacks. The photo shows the world's first portable WiFi firewall AirTight ($ 795) with a sensor for detecting WiFi attacks and an automatic intrusion prevention system.



Six network firewall vendors, including NitroSecurity, Vernier Networks, and Network Chemistry, have submitted their products to hackers. The photo shows all these devices: it took several dozen cables to connect them.
