Indian IT companies are going to hire American programmers
Leading IT companies in India, TCS, Infosys and Wipro, are going to increase the proportion of foreign employees in their overseas offices. The plan to attract foreign IT-specialists (in particular, outsourcers) is designed for five years. Companies intend to bring the number of foreign workers to 15% (now about 10%).
According to one of the leaders of Wipro Pratik Kumar (Pratik Kumar), his company intends to hire in the next two years about 750 employees from the United States, who are the main market for the Indian "software." All of them will work on the production of Wipro in Atlanta.
However, the head of the Infosys HR department, Mohandas Pai, said that despite the desire of Indian companies to hire mostly local workers, finding experienced software professionals in the US and the UK is still a very difficult task. ')
