Shutdown Day 2009

The third year we are holding the “Shutdown Day” campaign. Turning off the computers and trying to bite the bullet and tied your hands to not turn it on 24 hours. For many, this is a “new concept” (as I have a netbook in the toilet), many are already breaking for dinner, but it’s worth trying. It is clear that sometimes we are sitting without light, but here itself, when there is light and Internet, to cut down the computer - it should be able to.

For three years, more than 100k geeks joined the action, all sorts of media wrote about it. The Japanese and the Germans support the whole uni.
