The first NB100 netbook from the well-known company Toshiba was much less in demand than the competitors from Asus and Acer. The company could not put up with this state of affairs and released a completely new model, much more sophisticated and convenient, having many differences not only from its predecessor, but also from its competitors.
Presentation
The netbook was presented to the public at a presentation on April 21-22 in Hamburg. The event took place in two stages. The first is a small theatrical performance that demonstrates how a new netbook could change the life of famous literary heroes. “Got” to Hamlet, Faust, Romeo and Juliet and others. According to the stories of visitors, the organizers did their best - it turned out great and funny.
')
The second part began with the results of surveys of users of netbooks conducted by the company. A total of 2,500 respondents were surveyed from five European countries - Germany, Great Britain, France, Poland and Spain. These were people between the ages of 20 and 55 who already have a netbook or are about to purchase it within six months.
98.9% of respondents have a desktop computer or laptop. A netbook is not the first, but the second or third device. A Toshiba spokesman argued to the viewers that a netbook is not a gadget. Not a new electronic toy that will soon go out of fashion. A new independent class of devices that have their own advantages, such as increased battery life and modest weight and size characteristics. By the way, according to the survey, only 9.8% of users bought a netbook because of low prices, the rest made this choice because of its autonomy (33%) and modest size / weight (32%).
