Viewed or new reports? Interesting dispute
Friends, I need your advice, we have been arguing with colleagues for the second day about the implementation scenarios for simple functionality: viewed or new reports.
Approach 1:
Viewed reports. The idea is simple: show the user TechDays.ru reports that he has already viewed. Thereby helping him navigate the reports on the site. For this, an eye icon with alt text was implemented near the report (screenshot below)
Approach 2:
New reports: Do not mark the viewed reports, but mark new (unvisited) reports on the site using bold (screenshot below).

Attention to the question: Which of these options is more convenient from the user's point of view? what is more important for him: to see new ones (which can be done via RSS) or to see reports already viewed? Or is there an alternative solution?
