Hosters are growing faster than ever!

I decided to develop the theme raised by Deniskin in the previous entry .

The graphs below reflect the change in the number of domains serviced by hosting servers (ie delegated to them) by the host servers, as a cumulative total from the beginning of the year. For the creation of the schedule, 15 hosters were selected with the largest number of accepted domains on their servers.

The graph shows that the gap between the two leaders - Hosting Center and Masterhost from the rest of the hosts in terms of the growth of the domain base since the beginning of the year is very significant. Highlight the leaders in the 1st league. The increase in the main number of hosters (2nd league) for 10 months of this year is in the range from 0 to 5500 domains, so it makes sense to show this part of the chart in more detail:
')

From the enlarged chart, it can be seen that in the 2nd league, the largest increase is shown by Spaceweb and 1GB.ru. Agave, moving at the beginning of the year on a par with the leaders of the 2nd league, with the arrival of summer began to lose ground and is now noticeably behind. MTV, which grew strongly in February due to cybersquatting domains, does not have a competitive growth rate and is somewhat worse than its peers. On the graph, you can clearly distinguish subgroups of hosters of 3 pieces: two tightly competing + one that fell behind during the summer lull. First subgroup: Spaceweb, 1Gb.ru + Agave. The second: Infobox and Peterhost + Valuhehost. Third: Rusonix, Highway + Majordomo.

What do you think? :)

When building graphs, data from stat.nic.ru ( Top-200 DNS Servers ) was used.
