Any site has a navigation menu, and almost always in the first tab of the menu there is a link “Home” and it leads to the main page. This is very bad for search engine optimization, and here is why.

Google looks at the link text and uses keywords that help him understand the topic of the page. So, when you give a link with the word "Home", you actually tell Google that the page is about the "Main". And even if your page is about the “main page”, there are already millions of websites on this topic using the keyword “Home”, which link to their pages, so using this keyword loses its meaning.
