Nokia sold Mobile Broadcast Solutions

The largest mobile phone maker in Finland, Nokia, has sold its Mobile Broadcast Solutions division, which is dedicated to mobile TV development.

The buyer was the Indian outsourcer Wirpo .

Let me remind you that the activity of Mobile Broadcast Solutions is aimed at developing commercial technology for transmitting television pictures to mobile devices, including using 3G networks, and its headquarters is more than four dozen people.

Nokia explains the sale of the fact that the company intends to focus on the client part of this technology. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
