TribeHQ: micro jobbing modeled on twitter

The popularity of Twitter contributes to the emergence of specialized services that are based on the same logic. A typical example is the TribeHQ website, which positions itself as a “platform for micro jobbing”.

This is a social network that is formed on the principle of a network of followers on Twitter. It combines user groups (tribe) according to their geographical place of residence and by profession. They exchange brief reports with each other about new vacancies in the district.

The developers built a system of tribe around hashtags. After registering on the site, you must immediately select your tribe hashtag.

Despite all the progressiveness of this idea, it is not clear why people should register on the new site, if regular twitter is perfect for people to communicate. No one bothers to use the appropriate hashtags there. And a similar service could be more successful if it was built on the Twitter API, especially since there is already a ready-made example: TwitterJobSearch .
