The creator of The Sims leaves Electronic Arts

Will Wright (Will Wright), the legendary person in the history of the igroproma, co-founder of Maxis and the creator of the best-selling game of all time - The Sims, leaves Electronic Arts.

Wright, together with a man named Jeff Brown, founded the Maxis company in 1989. The first game, no less legendary than its creator, Sim City, has become one of the most successful franchise projects in the computer gaming industry. After Maxis was taken over by Electronic Arts giant in 1997, Will Wright worked as part of EA and managed The Sims project, which is simply pointless to talk about - it is the most popular and recognizable game according to statistics.

Will Wright's career, however, does not end at EA's departure - he has already founded the entertainment incubator “Stupid Fun Club”, the same shares in which belong to Wright and all the same EA.
