All-Russian final of the Technology Cup Imagine Cup 2009

On April 18, the winning team of the Imagine Cup 2009 technology team will be determined in Moscow, which will receive the right to represent Russia at the international final of the competition in Cairo. The competition will be attended by seven teams.

• The team of the computer department of the South Ural State University "Women's Logic" with the project "Lukomorye" - a gaming software system for children (Chelyabinsk);
• The team of the Nizhny Novgorod State University "Vital Lab" with the project "ViVa", designed to create a system for the timely prevention of the development of epidemics (Nizhny Novgorod);
• The team of the Russian State University. Kant with the project “Sence” - a set of software products adapted for the use of multitouch technologies (Kaliningrad);
• The team of the Volgograd State Technical University "Four Knights Club" with the project "Red Alert" - software and information security system (Volgograd);
• The team of the Far Eastern State University "Securiteam" with the project "mobiEcash" - a single standardized means of payment (Vladivostok);
• The “Blumo” team of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with the myRange project - a system for tracking meetings and making contacts based on mobile devices supporting the Bluetooth protocol;
• The team of the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with an augmented reality project based on Lullius QBR codes.

The Russian final of the Imagine Cup will take place on April 18, 2009 at 10:00 in the Cultural Center of the State University - Higher School of Economics at the address: ul. Vorontsovo field, d.5a (metro Kurskaya).

Imagine Cup is the world's largest technology competition, every year since 2003, organized with the support of Microsoft and several other companies and non-profit organizations. The competition helps to show and develop the abilities of young people in the field of information technology (IT) and expand communication among students around the world, and also contributes to the emergence of new advances in technological progress and development of the IT industry.
