The management company of the Turris Hotel Group announced a tender for the development of corporate identity and the logo of the Criminal Code and the adjacent brands of hotels under management (Russia Hotel and Vyborgskaya Hotel, Baltiets Hotel and Burevestnik Pension).

As AdLife.spb.ru told Tatiana Anashkina, head of the Turris advertising department, the former corporate identity was developed three years ago by an attracted designer. According to her, the logo and corporate identity created at that time were initially unsuccessful, since the designer used incompatible fonts and could not show the specifics of the company's activities.

“This is not about the weight of an agency in the advertising market. For us, the main thing is for a person to understand the essence of work, the specifics of the 3-star hotels, the specifics of the activities of the Management Company and the hotel business as a whole. We accept reasonable concepts and preliminary logo design of the Turris Management Company and one of the hotels, rather than commercial offers and portfolios, ”says Tatyana Anashkina.

The company decided to go exactly on the way of announcing a tender, because Turris already had a bad experience working with two agencies, the final work of which the company did not like in both cases. Therefore, now the company wants to first see "at least a preliminary outline of the work and be able to assess how competitive the new corporate identity will be."

Turris does not plan to pay directly for participation in the tender to agencies or designers. The price that the company is willing to pay for the finished work is not disclosed . In Turris, they only explained that everything will depend on many circumstances, including whether the agency wins the tender or just a freelance designer.
