World Digital Library

The World Digital Library will be launched on April 21, 2009 .

The project involves the national libraries of France, Brazil, Sweden and many other countries. Russia is represented by the Russian National Library and the Russian State Library.
The site will work in seven languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
It is based on manuscripts, maps, antiquarian books, musical materials, recordings, films, printouts, photographs and drawings.
Access is free.
