Google Chrome and Linux

Ubuntu users (or users of distributions based on this system) who have patiently waited for Google Chrome for Linux now have this feature. Pre Alpha Chromium is available in the repositories:
deb ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main

Then sudo apt-get install chromium-browser and chromium-browser

Although this is still a very early version, Chrome works surprisingly smoothly and quickly. Some important features and features are not there, but after all, we don’t seem to be in a hurry? =)
