As I was faced with what actually can not be - the lack of search on Yandex

The big company Yandex is known to have its own blogosphere, I’m called it. I met her about two years ago. I will not describe, there is an opus about me without it.

Blogs have just been opened for free registration and I liked it there. I decided for myself to collect information about the achievements of this service. Through long and complex manipulations with the address bar, I managed to find the very first blogs. It was difficult to search because the built-in search searches all types of records at once, and there are about a dozen of them. Well, in the search process I found several blogs of the developers of this service themselves. In one of the entries I found a description of the query language (2 pages per print). By inserting certain combinations of service words and control characters, you can find the most commented posts and the very first blogs. Notice the number of comments and the “shared link” to this entry.

Composing the title of this article, I intentionally made a mistake - Yandex has a search on its blogosphere, but it is not convenient . I tried to do my bit by creating a separate page for the advanced search, and later on it in the form of a bookmarklet and a script for the browser add-on GresyMonkey. It's funny that the Yandex developers noticed the extension, commenting on it like this:
As far as I understand the majority opinion, the most wanted would be a search on the current site or community. But things are there.

I noticed that “Service is temporarily unavailable” is a common mistake that appears during an advanced search. Can not the search string analyzer?

PS Recently I reformatted the top of the blog pages for I Ru. And my extension cannot find a place to embed a form for entering parameters. It still works here. Since I still need to correct the logic, I would also like to fix the design, but not the artist. Are there any habrians who want to evaluate, overestimate and redraw the design of the search form so that it remains compact, but more pleasant to look at? As said on the bash: so that sick users look at a cheerful design and do not perceive themselves to be sick.

I wish you success! And me too :)
