Parcels from China: Wireless Remote Shutter.

There are such cases when it becomes necessary to take a frame without having physical contact with the camera. There are a lot of examples: an inconvenient camera position, protection from “jiggle” or the photographer’s desire to become part of the frame yourself - anything can happen. Most modern cameras offer a timer as the simplest solution. But on my EOS 400D, for example, it is fixed - it is not always possible to “shoot” at the right moment, and the focusing takes place before the beginning of the countdown - if in 10 seconds something invades the frame - the camera will not react to it at all. Those who know now read and think - “Duc, why are you soaring, the consoles invented a hundred years ago”. :)

That's exactly the remote I wanted. After a brief study of the market, it turned out that there are three native consoles for amateur Canon `s: RS-60E3, RC-5 and RC-1. The first one is wired (and I wanted no cord), the second one hits only after 2 seconds (perhaps I got it wrong, but it was stated that there was no immediate descent), the last one (like the RC-5) didn’t know Bulb, but was able to shoot without delay.

So, if someone is tormented by similar agony of choice - you know, you have a direct route to ebay. The guys from China apparently were also saddened by the lack of functionality of standard devices and decided to make their own console with blackjack and ... :) The device itself looks like this:
')

It consists of two parts: the receiver (which in combination is a wired remote) and the transmitter. Transmission medium - radio. The declared distance is 100m in open space. The device I ordered is compatible with all Canon amateur DSLRs (1000D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D), as well as the G10 soap box. There are exact copies for “older” cameras, as well as cameras from other manufacturers.

The descent buttons on both consoles are two-way: focus / descend. On the radio remote control is a switch - shooting with a delay (2 seconds somewhere) and a “smart” bulb (when you do not need to hold the button - a long press at the beginning and one more press to close the shutter).

Well, one more snack finally:

Are you a photo maniac and you have 16 cameras? Click the descent on all at once! :) Remote 16-channel, with the function of sending all at the same time. By the way, the protrusion on the receiver is mounted under the “shoe” (I also have a threaded hole for a tripod for some reason). Also included is a velcro for attaching to a more convenient one (for example, on a tripod) and a case.

By the way, the device cost me $ 40 (15 of them are shipping). It seems to me - not bad at all. By the way, YongNuo produces a lot more for photographers. If anyone is interested, in the near future I will tell you more about a pair of photo lotions, delivered from China.
